Vigorun Tech Announces Upgrade to Remote Wheel Mowers

We are excited to announce a significant upgrade to our remote-controlled wheeled mowers. Previously, our motor was connected to the wheel hub through a flange, which was assembled by welding a bushing to an iron plate. However, we encountered challenges in ensuring the bushing was perfectly perpendicular to the iron plate during welding. Even a slight misalignment resulted in the mower’s four wheels not moving along the centerline in a horizontal and vertical direction, causing the mower to wobble during operation.

To address this issue, we used to produce a large number of welded flanges and select the best ones for assembly. Recently, we decided to improve our process by manufacturing the entire flange as a single piece using CNC machining. This change eliminates the problem of misaligned shafts entirely.

Below is a comparison of the old and new flanges. On the left is the original welded flange, and on the right is the upgraded one-piece machined flange.

After installing and testing the new flanges, we found the mowing performance to be perfect. Although this new method significantly increases production costs, it ensures better movement and greatly extends the motor’s lifespan, making it a worthwhile investment.

This upgrade reflects our commitment to providing the highest quality products and improving our customers’ experience with our remote-controlled mowers.
